At Trust Guarantee Community Development Aid (TGCDA), we channel our resources into thematic areas that respond to South Sudan’s humanitarian needs while advancing national priorities and global development goals. Our programs are designed to deliver immediate relief and build long-term resilience.
Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH)
We improve access to clean water, safe sanitation, and hygiene awareness to reduce disease outbreaks and strengthen community health.
Education in Emergencies (EiE)
We provide safe learning spaces, psychosocial support, and accelerated learning programs for children affected by conflict and displacement, ensuring education continues even in crisis.
Health & Nutrition
Our health and nutrition initiatives deliver community-based services, maternal and child care, and emergency interventions to combat malnutrition and improve well-being.
Food Security and Livelihoods (FSL)
We strengthen household food security through agricultural support, income-generating activities, and resilience-building, empowering families to withstand shocks.
Child Protection
We safeguard children from exploitation, abuse, and neglect while promoting psychosocial recovery, family reunification, and reintegration into safe environments.
Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Response, Risk Mitigation, and Prevention
We deliver survivor-centered services, raise awareness, and promote community-based prevention strategies to reduce GBV and support survivors’ dignity and recovery.
Climate Change Action
We advocate for climate resilience and environmental protection, supporting communities to adapt to floods, droughts, and other climate-related challenges.
Climate-Smart Agriculture Development
We introduce innovative farming techniques and pilot Solar-Powered Mobile Agro-Processing Units (MAPUs) to reduce post-harvest losses, strengthen cooperatives, and promote sustainable agriculture.
Emergency Shelter and Non-Food Items (ES/NFIs)
We provide temporary shelter and essential household supplies to displaced populations, ensuring dignity and safety during emergencies.
Peacebuilding and Governance
We strengthen community dialogue, local governance structures, and conflict resolution mechanisms to promote peace, trust, and accountability.
Women and Youth Economic Empowerment
We promote entrepreneurship, micro-business skills, and financial literacy, enabling women and youth to build sustainable livelihoods and contribute to community development.
